Cornelia’s calm and collected demeanour perfectly complements the Word Artists team. Nothing can faze her—no matter how hard the text. Lovingly referred to as our wordsmith-in-residence, Conny is known for her extremely broad vocabulary in both her mother tongue and in her working languages, as well as for her penchant for beautiful linguistic styles. She is the creative one on our team: be it poems, fiction, rhetoric or marketing texts—creative writing and transcreation are her fortes. Cornelia’s specialist subjects are law and social affairs in addition to logistics and the energy industry, yet she is certainly not one to shy away from translations assignments that pose a creative challenge. Her language pair is German <> English, and as a conference interpreter she has gained extensive experience not only in her chosen subject areas, but in various scientific fields as well.
